Encouragement for the battle-weary

A Word of encouragement for those who are feeling battle-weary:

You are not alone. For several years, I've been standing and believing for some promises of the Lord to come to pass. Recompense, Restoration, Restitution...waiting for some things to come full circle. I know some of you can undoubtedly relate... Your eyes haven't seen yet, what you have been contending for. It feels at times like there is no movement. If that's you- The Lord has a word of encouragement for you.

I was reminded of something today, and it shifted my perspective.

Last year I requested Jason's medical file from the U of A. Upon reading through the first dozen pages (there are over 2,500), I learned something that I was not made aware of at the time: Jason was resuscitated twice in the first 24 hours. This makes more sense as to why his medical team did not have much hope of him making it through the night. BUT JEHOVAH RAPHA. Needless to say- I was stunned to find this out...

I didn't know what was happening behind the scenes in the unseen. Four years later, I am learning about battles I had no idea The Lord was fighting on my behalf. You, too will be stunned when you learn about battles won on your behalf, that you didn’t know about at the time.

Someone needs to hear this tonight: You can't see it yet but hold on. You're tired and weary from contending but keep going. You feel like there is no movement but rest assured- Yahweh is not a stagnant God. He is not a man that He should lie. He is fighting battles that you don't even know about. HE IS WORKING IT TOGETHER FOR YOUR GOOD. He will get the glory, and you will sing again. You will laugh again. You will dance again. You will rise from the ashes, friend. Isaiah 61:1-3

Proverbs 6:31 says that what was stolen from you MUST be returned 7-FOLD. Do not let go of this promise!

The war has been raging against you, but the Spirit of the Lord comes to settle the storm and still the waves. Don't stop now. Don't let go of His word...

I pray that the spirit of heaviness is removed and that His peace fills you. That the Father’s breath of endurance and courage will come alongside you and move you forward.

You may not see it yet...but there is movement. Keep praising and entering His gates with thanksgiving for everything He has done and is about to do in your life.
