Days 14 & 15

June 24th

SHOWER DAY!

Who knew taking a shower could be such a challenge? Having to keep my upper body dry ended up being more difficult to manage than we expected. So, Mom and I put our heads together and came up with this beautiful garbage bag garment- it worked great!

The scriptures Cara refers to in her voxer message, in regards to having to deal with the aftermath of losing our home, belongings, and much more...

Everything going on felt much bigger than me. Wisdom, counsel, guidance...I needed it all. The Lord knew what He was doing when He placed each person in my life during this time, Not a moment of it was journeyed alone.

JUNE 25th

I underwent nearly two hours of picking and peeling. While it resulted in the removal of more unsightly scabs, it was quite painful.
